Now that you have been thrusted in to the internet marketing world, you are trying to figure out a way to generate quality leads, promote your online business opportunity, all without going broke. Trust me when I say, I feel your pain and loss of direction. You have probably just joined a new MLM, Direct, or Network Marketing opportunity and now you are trying to identify cost effective marekting methods to propel your business to the income earning levels that you may have been “promised” by your upline, sponsor, and company.

Is your current marketing budget busting your pockets? You got involved in an online business to make money, not to spend it all. Writing articles yourself does not cost anything but your time. It is absolutely free to create as many articles as your heart desires about your selected topic.

All it takes is a your trusty pen and a pad or your computer and keyboard. Submitting and posting your articles to sites and communities don’t cost anything either. Once again, just your time. The only costs you will incur with article marketing is if you choose to:

Writing articles gives you the chance to establish credibility and establish a presence online. By consistently authoring and creating articles that solve a problem and provides quality content, you can separate yourself from the “other internet marketers” and “online business owners” by making a name for yourself that is associated with articles that contain information that people can’t wait to read.

3. Philanthropy – Helping Your Fellow Neighbor (internet marketer):

There are thousands of struggling internet marketers and entrepreurs trying to make it in this dog-eat-dog society. Help your fellow internet marketers out by creating articles that can help them be successful in there endeavors. The things you learn, you can use to create quality content and turn around and share it with your fellow internet marketers. Who knows, the information you provide in your articles could be all the difference between their success and failure. Just think about having that impact. Think about creating articles that your downline, sponors, and leaders in your organization actualy value and can use to improve their business results. That is powerful stuff!

Don't Let Article Marketing Frustrate You

You have probably been told by some internet marketing guru that one effective way to generate traffic to your website or opportunity is to write articles. He or she is absolutely correct. I will not argue with them there. But there is one caveat. Writing value-added articles can be time consuming and difficult if you are not a writer.

There are several obstacles that can get in your way of getting the thoughts from head out on to your screen and to the public. See as though you are seriously looking towards article marketing to drive traffic to your site, you may be interested in some solutions to help you stomp out the problems of article marketing and reap the benefits of this low-cost lead generation method.

Problem #1: Writer’s Block

Every writer will struggle with writer’s block – This is just the nature of the article marketing beast. It doesn’t matter how long you have been writing articles, press releases, or e-books, at one time or another, you will “hit a wall” and your mind will freeze up on you. You will not be able to write a single word, let alone an entire paragraph.

Solution: Get the Creative Juices Flowing

This is a very simple tip, but it is often over looked by most writers and internet marketers. Are you ready? Let your brain rest. You may have “fried” your poor brain and it may need a couple of minutes or hours before it can think again and create value packed articles. Try listening to some music to get you and your brain back in to production mode. You can also try taking a brisk walk to get your blood flowing and to help clear your thoughts.

Problem #2: Successful Writing

You would not be here if you did not want to be a successful article marketer and create beneficial content for your fans and target audience. Most article marketers set out to be successful but don’t feel like they can ever achieve the so called successful status due to time, knowledge, or resources.

Solution: Invest in Your Writing Skills

Don’t get scared off by the word “invest.” What I mean by “invest” is allocate some time to developing your craft. If you want to become a successful internet marketer that uses articles to drive traffic to your website(s), then you need to educate yourself and invest some time in teaching yourself this new skill. Once you learn this skill, you still will need to support your growth and development by furthering your education to master the art of article writing and marketing.

Problem #3: Organization and Action

Being organized in your work area and your thoughts will help keep you sane during the times you may struggle to produce your articles. We all get distracted (I am very guilty of that) and becoming distracted is okay; staying distracted is not.

Solution: Get Organized

To help you organize your thoughts to write articles about and help you take action with writing and submiting your articles, you first need to make sure you have a writing area or a space that is designated for you to work and create your content.

You also want to think about creating a writing schedule for yourself. I know that when creativity strikes, it strikes, but if you need more structure to get you in the mood of writing, you may want to pencil in sometime in your planner to ensure that you actual allot some time to create your articles.

Problem #4: Motivation and Inspiration

This advice sort of goes hand in hand with the dreadful writer’s block. Motivation and inspiring stories can help you break down the writer’s wall and get you creating some great content. If you lack motivation or inspiration to write, then your readers will be able to “feel” this through your writing. You can’t fake the funk on this one.

Solution: Remember and Reflect

Tap in to some of your past memories. You may be able to reflect upon past experiences to help you become inspired to write. You could actually take your memory and make it an article topic (depending on the type of memory of course). Also, always come back to the reason why you want to communicate with your target audience or why you have chosen to become an internet article marketer. Reflecting upon your goals and aspirations for starting your own business or being an internet marketer may give you the boost of motivation you may need to churn out several articles.

Problem #5: Beneficial and Unique Content

I am going to be upfront, often times people get on the internet and either create or promote junk. I am not knocking any one but, we have all seen it. This is probably why you want to create articles and valuable content…so that you can provide your target audience and the world with benefical articles that will add value to their lives or situation, instead of crap. The issue is that not everyone knows how to create beneficial or unique content. Let me share with you one simple way to do this.

Solution: Write as You Learn & The Book Store

Yes, I said it! The book store is the answer to your unique and valuable content issue. Many internet marketers and online business owners forget about the rich content that books have inside them. I understand that the internet has become everyone’s preferred choice of conducting research, but this is not always good. Most of the content found online is recycled and reused content. There isn’t anything original about it.

Think about it for a moment.

How many times have you conducted an online search, for lets say internet marketing, social media marketing, and/or building an online business, only to get a page of results that contained the same content or “very similar” content?

I am sure too many times to mention.

And how did that make you feel? Probably upset and frustrated. You went to your favorite search engine, looking for valuable, unique, and beneficial content to help you achieve your goal, only to find the same content that has been “spun,” “tweeked,” or changed slightly.

Let’s not do this to your target audience. Reading a book and conducting your own research (offline) can help you provide your visitors with fresh content that has not even hit the internet yet.

Spend at least one day every two weeks in your favorite book store researching and purchasing books related to your internet marketing strategy. I know you may not have a lot of time, but you do not have to read the entire book that you purchase.

Instead, skim the table of contents and select the chapter(s) that are most relevant to your marketing niche or online business to help you generate some ideas and obtain information to provide to your target audience.
